Lieutenant General William g. (Jerry) Boykin

Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin was one of the original members of the U.S. Army's Delta Force. He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. Later, William Boykin commanded all the Army's Green Berets as well as the Special Warfare Center and School.

He served in with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. He would hold numerous leadership positions in the elite unit, including operations officer, troop commander, squadron commander, deputy commander and finally unit commander from July 1992 to July 1994.

In all, Lt. Gen. Boykin spent 36 years in the army, serving in several operations in S. Korea, Grenada, Panama, Colombia, among other successful missions. He spent his last four years in service as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

He is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become warriors in God's Kingdom.

Since June of 2012, Jerry has been serving as the Executive Vice President of the Washington DC based Family Research Council.

William and his wife Ashley enjoy spending time with their five children and growing number of grandchildren.
